We booked Pynes House as our wedding venue without having visited, so that made it all the more sweeter when we showed up and it felt like we walked into a fairy tale. The house is spectacular, and the grounds were absolutely beautiful with the colourful gardens and the rolling hills in the background. We had an amazing sunny day one night and a rainy day another night, but regardless of the weather conditions, the venue’s charm shone through.

Additionally, making every moment of your celebration weekend special, our outdoor BBQ facility is ideal for a leisurely post-wedding brunch on Sunday or a relaxed pre-wedding gathering on a Friday evening.
Pynes House was the first venue that we saw for our wedding. We knew it was perfect from the moment we set eyes on it. We had the most beautiful drinks reception in the rose garden, accompanied by a saxophonist. The amount of comments we had on our choice of venue was unbelievable! We will always be grateful for the memories created at Pynes house. We only wish it could have gone on longer!

HOW MANY BEDROOMS ARE THERE AT PYNES HOUSE?
We have 12 double bedrooms, all individually decorated to the highest standard with huge comfortable beds and goose down duvets and pillows. We also have four foldaway beds if needed.
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN THE HOUSE ACCOMMODATE FOR A WEDDING BREAKFAST?
- 96 guests (round tables)
- 78 guests for dining in the Ballroom (long tables in a horseshoe formation)
- 72 guests for dining in the Ballroom (two long tables)
- 130 guests in a marquee (supplied by a third party)
IS THE HOUSE SUITABLE FOR SMALLER, MORE INTIMATE OR ELOPEMENT WEDDINGS?
Yes. Although we can accommodate large parties, the house can also be set up to have a more intimate feel and lends itself beautifully to small weddings.
