From the moment we drove up the tree-lined driveway and caught sight of Pynes we couldn't contain our excitement. Walking through the striking front doors into the most beautiful interior, we knew instantly we had found the place for our special day. Pynes House has the most perfect blend of grandeur and elegance, but a really intimate and homely feel. It absolutely encapsulated the modern, elegant but relaxed vision we had in mind for our day.

WHAT A VENUE! The house is absolutely stunning, inside and out. All our guests commented on how incredible it was. Lucky for us we had beautiful weather, so were able to enjoy the lovely gardens and croquet on the lawn. One of the best things is how flexible they are - you can choose all your own suppliers to ensure you have a truly unique day! The house the perfect layout for a wedding reception and makes for a really intimate and special event.

Pynes House is so beautiful and is breathtaking as soon as you come down the tree lined drive. It really is a gem in Exeter. You just feel so proud to have Pynes as your wedding venue and excited to share with your family and friends. You wouldn't think it was so close to the city centre, you almost feel like you're in the Italian hills. I couldn't think of a better place to get married and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Pynes House was just perfect for our wedding. We fell in love with it the first time we went to visit it. Heather was amazing from the first time I called and I really felt relaxed about the whole process right from the start. The house and courtyards are absolutely stunning for guests and photos and it was such a treat to be able to stay in such a wonderful place. Heather and Geoff were available for whenever we needed which was great but also allowed us to treat it as our home for the weekend. I wish we could do it all over again!

Of all the venues we viewed Pynes House had the biggest wow factor. The dramatic tree lined entrance perfectly frames the house as you enter, transporting you in to what feels like a dream. The property has been lovingly restored, with an attention to detail and eye for style within the interiors (both in the entertaining space and bedrooms) that really sets it apart. Each area offers the perfect flow for you to entertain guests and the gardens and valley provide the perfect backdrop.

Such a beautiful venue, refurbished with love and care, and wonderful staff who helped us have the perfect day. Every guest commented on our choice of venue. So many country houses are dark and cluttered, but Pynes House is full of light. It's perfect in every way. The style fit our vision and decor perfectly. We also loved the idea of having the whole venue for the weekend, so we could relax and not rush.
